Perhaps for the first time, a safe and attractive alternative vehicle to the motor bike can carry 3 or 4 to 8 persons in comfort with low to no emissions. Government approvals and registration should be looked at positively and encouraged by the transportation department in your country as these are NOT a car, these are a Tricycle and therefore perhaps the safest motor bike on the road today. The Trident is classed as a motorcycle and really needs to be thought of as one. If you envision it as a car, you will compare it to mass produced cars you maybe be disappointed in the ride and/or finish. Compared to a motorcycle, the shelter from the elements- carrying capacity 0f 4 or more people and inclusion of a air conditioner and/or heater and stereo make it a quite pleasant experience. The gasoline Trident will get you 50-55 mpg driving around town at city speed limits and 65 mpg on an extended hi-way drive with two people in it. Trident is mechanically simple- no on board computers, no fuel injection, and no mystery parts. Alternator, water pump, starter, distributor, carb ,fuel pump and radiator pretty much inventory what is under the hood. The engine is a water cooled 2 cylinder 4 stroke. Trident have either a 4 or 5 speed manual gearbox plus reverse, automatic is also available in some models. Trident sits as high as many smaller SUVs and gives excellent 360 visibility. The main advantage over other motorcycles is its visual presence on the road- it is noticeable- so you do not feel that fear of invisibility to other drivers that scooter and bike riders feel. For a 3 wheeler, the vehicle is stable. We have deliberately driven Tridents at progressively higher speeds around a curve to find out what it takes to lift a wheel at 52 MPH Trident briefly broke contact as you would in many SUV's or Vans, at city speeds where Trident is designed for it is not nor should be an issue.

Owning a The Trident Tricar is socially responsible and means less or no trips to the gas station. The Trident Tricar can be driven every day, it can be driven in all types of weather; sunny days, heavy rain, even freezing weather and snow.
